Unlike traditional plywood shells, of which even the best designs can suffer tone loss due to glue weight and weak contact between layers, this one-piece shell resonates like a single hunk of wood — because it is. Inner 1/4" top and bottom maple reinforcing rings impart structural strength and supply a studio-focused tone. And outside, a breathable hand-rubbed oil finish allows the true beauty of the wood to come through, visually and sonically.
