This Pearl Music City Custom Solid Shell Snare Drum features a cherry shell delivering a bright projecting sound ideal for higher velocity stroke. The solid shell is meticulously hand-formed from a steam treated plank of premium North American lumber. This technique is similar to methods used by old world ship builders. Each shell gets a hand rubbed finish, precise drilling and assembled with Pearl's quality hardware.
